Handicraft and Embroidery Training Camp
This 3-month training program empowered rural women with practical skills in handicraft and embroidery, providing them an opportunity to become financially independent. The camp was executed with support from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) under their CSR commitment.
More than 100 women participated and learned skills including embroidery stitching, appliqué work, jute crafts, and soft toy making. Toolkits were provided to all participants. A small exhibition of their work was held at the end to encourage sales and motivate women to continue as artisans.
