Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program
This CSR initiative, supported by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), aimed to promote menstrual hygiene among adolescent girls in government schools across Bulandshahr. More than 10,000 girls were impacted through hygiene awareness sessions and the distribution of reusable sanitary pads, dietary supplements, and personal care kits.
Sanitary pad vending machines and incinerators were installed in 20 schools. Health educators conducted awareness drives on menstrual health, myths, proper usage and disposal of sanitary products, and importance of nutrition. Teachers were also trained to continue these awareness activities post-project.
