Lakh Bangles Making Program
This skill development initiative trained 100+ women in the traditional art of Lakh (lacquer) bangle making. Conducted in association with SIDBI(Small Insdustries Development Bank of India), the program aimed at empowering rural women with vocational skills that can generate livelihood opportunities.
200 Participants received training in bangle design, color mixing, finishing, and packaging. A dedicated marketing session was also organized to teach women how to sell their products via exhibitions and self-help groups (SHGs). Toolkits and startup material were distributed at the end of the training.
